Your Dreams Are Mine Now by Ravinder Singh

This story is about some practical incidents happening in India. A girl from a small town got admitted in famous Delhi University, who always keeps her family and studies as her first priority and always fights for justice. When she found about something wrong that is happening at that place, she decided to fight against it. While trying to get rid of that evil thing, she met with many people and also a special person who always concentrates on youth politics and student unions. They both tried for the same cause and finally, they achieved it at a heavy price.

Coming to my opinion on this story, this book brought so many scandals happening in this country into light. Firstly about sexual harassment at workplaces. Now-a-days it is commonly seen at every places and many lives are lost due to this evil in the society. And the main thing is politics, which should act as a protective sphere around the people in the society, but when practically observing the situation, this is existing just as a myth. I am not commenting on every issues dealt by political people, but there are some areas which should be given some importance not only by political leaders, but also by every person in this society. We live in this planet leading our lives towards development of ourselves, but not by ruining others future.

Keeping social issues aside, the literature in this book is very easily understandable and anyone who started reading english books can pick this author books. First, I didn’t get the taste of the story, but when I continued reading, it became a page turner for me. As I said earlier, I am trying to improve my english, this book helped me creating interest in reading more and more sagas.

PS: Don’t miss the ending part and if you’re involved in the story, then try to have some tissues beside you 😉
