My Review:
The first thing I want to say is I cried a lot because I finished this book! this series! I am completely addicted to Tatiana and Alexander. There are a lot of things that I want to talk about this book, this series, them and their story. But I became speechless and didn’t find proper words to describe their life. When we look into the book one it was all about LOVE, book two was all about PATIENCE, but book three went beyond that and shows us what is LIFE! I have to admit one thing that this series made me think of my grandmother and grandfather. Marriage is not only a connection between two hearts, but beyond that connection there are many other things like understanding, patience, respect, endurance, making promises and keeping them, teaching, learning, support and the main thing is handling the responsibilities together with love. This book will show us all this. Tatiana and Alexander proved it successfully! My grandmother and grandfather proved it practically to me!
In book one, when they were together the war was still running. In book two, when were not together the war continued. But in book three, they created their new life and pretended that they found peace but time showed one thing to them that there is no end for a war in life. Talking about real war, as I said earlier in my book two review (https://bookishgirlspells.home.blog/2019/05/05/tatiana-and-alexander-by-paullina-simons/), the war not only affected the lives during WWII but post war brought so much more horrors than anything. Many people lost their loved one’s, political issues were increased, cold war started among nations which affected the world peace. We all know that these horrors are still exist in our societies. The war among nations are still continuing like a tradition. We are losing most valuable resources. We started creating things to smash ourselves but not to flourish. I agree that many developments took place and provided more opportunities than before but what is this all about when there is no happiness in that. Let’s just take an example from this book, In book one when they were in Lazarevo they had nothing, but still they were very happy. But when they were in Arizona they had everything and when we read this book we definitely think what happened to their happiness, their life like before when they had nothing! So what all these things they had meant for when there is no peacefulness? We all should also think about that in our real lives. We should search for happiness but not for perfectness.
Now talking about my favorite part, the main characters in the book. First thing is I became a very big fan of Tatiana after reading this book. She clearly showed how to handle various situations in a relationship. Everyone should have stubbornness like Tatiana. This time I decided not to talk about Alexander because this will definitely become a never ending post😂. Speaking of their relationship, a man like Alexander deserves a girl like Tatiana. Tatiana came from a happy family which was devastated by the war. Alexander – who was completely broken since childhood. In my opinion a broken childhood is like an ocean. some people built their own ship and sail away but some people drown in that and die. I respect the former one. Alexander is one of them. Although he is a fictional character, he is an inspiration to many people. OK! look it won’t stop when I start talking about him🙊. But I have to accept that every man deserves a girl like Tatiana and every girl deserves a man like Alexander.
In this book we not only feel their love upon each other but on their children too. A good parenting is needed for every child. Whatever happens in the family shouldn’t affect the child’s life. Because whatever struggles we are facing now is for our future generations. We all should keep that in mind before taking a step forward. This book succeed not only in love, life but also in parenting too.
I don’t have to talk about my favorite Paullina Simons I guess. She is always the best. Once in my life I want to meet her and tell her how important this series is to me and how much I like it. Because a good author tells us a story but a great author creates images of that story in our minds. Such authors will always stay in our hearts. For me Paullina is the one ❤. Love her so much because she brought tears from my eyes and I even remembered my grandparents lives and of course did not stop asking my mom about them continuously 😅.
I definitely recommend everyone to read this series at least once in your life.
Tatiana and Alexander will always be in my heart 💕🤗
