Day 25 – Adopted A Book (because books are my babies)

Hello friends,

How many of you are fans of historical stuff? Well, mostly world war stuff? When was in school, I never showed interest on any historical things not because I didn’t like history but I was scared of too many years and dates blah blah blah. Tell me, if we can’t even remember the breakfast we had on a particular day in the last month, then who’ll remember the birthdays, death days or some other days of these great historical leaders (no offence intended and I said that because of my lack of remembering power 😅) . But we do love listening to stories right! In fact, it’s a proven fact that we can remember anything easily if it is explained to us like a beautiful story. Wait, Am I blaming my history teacher? NO! He was my favorite teacher (I guess I was his favorite student too because he used to scream at me a lot 😉) and you know, no one can fall asleep in his class when he was explaining. Because he explained everything like he was taking us back to those times and places. So, I guess now I realised the value of his teaching. History taught us so many things.

Talking about today’s new thing, I bought a book called The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L Shirer. This book shows us the world war incidents not either in Axis powers’ or Allied powers’ perspectives but in a neutral way. I didn’t read the book yet. When I start the book, I am thinking of writing about it everyday in my blog (only about what I have learnt from that). let’s see 🤞

If anyone read this book, mention your views about it in the comments. Thanks for reading guys. À demain!
